The Best Yeast Infection Treatment - The Answer Will Surprise You
Are you constantly suffering from yeast infections?
Have the treatments you've tried failed?
Does your doctor NOT Know what to do or you get the feeling he has no idea?
Well if this is the case then I've got good news for you, today you will learn about the best yeast infection treatment available and why your doctor has never mentioned it before!
First I'll tell you what it isn't - Drugs.
That's right drugs are FAR from the best yeast infection treatment. This is because they create what are known as super strains of yeast. They do this because they are incapable of completely eliminating an infection, and by only partially eliminating a yeast infection. They allow the yeast to recuperate in a way and rebuild themselves, so the next time you take the same drug, they can practically ignore it as a false threat. These yeast also make a point to not get eliminated the next time so your symptoms worsen as the yeast try to make a home out of your vagina.
If this wasn't bad enough the drugs themselves are known to cause side-effects AND the major reason women fall prey to yeast infections is because their immune system is weakened. When you take a drug your body has to work extra hard to process it, in doing so your immune system takes a hit and weakens you further, this actually increases the ability of the yeast to get a foot hold in your body!
So if Drugs are out then...
What is the Best Yeast Infection Treatment?
Natural Treatments - If you saw this coming wait I'm not done. Natural Treatments used in the right order and at the right time. You see just because garlic can help cure a vaginal yeast infection does not mean using it first thing is necessarily the best option to take. Most times you want to minimize the symptoms as much as possible in which cause using aloe vera or slippery elm is tremendously important.
Not only that but using the right combination that works synergistically will have profound results, over just applying yogurt to your vagina or using any other single treatment.
When it comes down to it the best yeast infection treatment by far are natural treatments, so of course your doctor schooled in drugs and diagnosing symptoms would know nothing of it. I don't go see a baker to fix my plumbing, why see a doctor if you can use a natural treatment that is cheaper, safer, easier and works better!

Yeast Infection Pregnancy
Yeast infections can occur in several places on the body:
The most common areas are the mouth, where the infection is called thrush; on the feet, as athlete's foot; and on the genitals. When this develops in a woman's vagina, it causes a type of vaginitis, or inflammation of the vagina. Yeast can also overgrow and cause infection in overweight people who have folds of skin that rub against each other, creating a dark and moist environment in those folds.
We normally have yeast all over our bodies, and it plays an important role as it lives side by side with bacteria.
When there is an imbalance in the normal flora [environment] of these areas, the yeast can grow heavier and cause what we know of as a symptomatic yeast infection, these symptoms usually include itching, discharge, redness, and burning."
Add increased amounts of vaginal discharge to the list of physical changes that occur during pregnancy. The amount and type of discharge you have may increase because of hormonal changes and changes to your cervix. A thin, clear, or white discharge that has no odor, or is mild smelling, is normal.
- Pregnancy:
During pregnancy, women should discuss their symptoms with their doctor if:
Their vaginal discharge becomes yellow or green, or is white, thick, and curd-like.
The vaginal lips itch or burn.
Such changes could be a sign of vaginitis or a yeast infection. Usually, yeast causes a white discharge; if the discharge has a fishy smell it could be due to a condition called bacterial vaginosis.
Yeast likes warm, moist, airless environments. Being pregnant and wearing support hose or constrictive clothing can make the vaginal environment all the more warm, moist, and dark, encouraging yeast to grow
While this generally doesn't put a pregnancy at risk, they can be very uncomfortable. If you think you have a vaginal infection during pregnancy, it should be diagnosed and treated by a doctor.
- Lifestyle Contributors
A variety of factors may contribute to the development of a vaginal infection. For example, wearing tight underwear or underwear made from a synthetic fabric that doesn't let the area "breathe" encourages yeast overgrowth.
Being overweight can also contribute, both in the vagina and in the folds of the genital area, so can eating a diet high in sugar.
- Medical Conditions:
If you have diabetes, you may also find that you experience frequent infections. This is especially likely to happen when your blood sugar is not well controlled. Illnesses that lower your immunity, like HIV/AIDS, can frequently lead to this.
An oral infection, or thrush, is caused by a type of fungus, or yeast, known as Candida albicans.
Normally, Candida exists in the mouth in small numbers along with various kinds of good bacteria, with each type of organism keeping the other in check. An upset in this harmonious balance clears the way for the yeast to grow, ultimately resulting in thrush.
- Symptoms of an oral yeast infection include:
White patches in the mouth or on the tongue that may bleed when rubbed
Redness or soreness inside the mouth
Cracking at the corner of the mouth (known as angular cheilitis)
The risk of contracting thrush may be increased by:
Having cancer, HIV or AIDS, or any other condition that weakens the immune system
Being on chemotherapy
Using antibiotics, corticosteroids, or immunosuppressive drugs
Using inhaled corticosteroids for asthma
Being very old or very young
Having diabetes
Wearing dentures
Thrush has been associated with poor oral hygiene, but only in very extreme cases.
You really have to have massive decay and neglect in order to see thrush. In cases like that, bacterial infection is much more common, and it can be severe."
Heavy tobacco smoking is also sometimes associated with thrush because smoke can irritate the surface tissue lining the mouth, making it easier for yeast as well as other organisms to invade and start growing.

Yeast Infection Medicine - Traditional Creams
The condition that 20% to 50% of women will contract at least once in their lifetime, which results in irritation, itching, vaginal discharge and odor, is known as a yeast infection. Men can suffer from the infection as well, but not nearly as often. There are several kinds of yeast infections, but the one that affects most people is caused by a fungus called Candida. When you are seeking a yeast infection medicine, it is important that you have a doctor diagnose the exact issue at hand so you can move forward with the best treatments possible.
Before you pursue any medicine, you should consult your doctor to get advice and confirm the exact situation you are dealing with. If this is the first time you have ever had a yeast infection, it could be a wise decision to also consult with your gynecologist before you think about self medicating. After you receive a confirmation, you can move forward with confidence that you are approaching the issue for what it really is and not what you simply guess it is.
Many people turn to medicines located with a local drug or grocery store. There are many yeast infection creams you can look into from all kinds of companies and with different dosages and suggestions. One-day solutions may sound appealing, but often they are not because the symptoms return again and again, each time with greater severity. This is caused by the fact that treatment performed in such a short amount of time cannot penetrate to the actual source. It is like weeding your garden with pruning shears because it is easier than pulling the weeds out from the roots. They are gone when you cut the stem, but they will continue to return.
The most common treatment creams for candida take between one and three days to take effect. The active ingredients in these creams are what you want to look at when shopping around. If a store brand has the same active ingredients as an expensive name-brand, choosing the less expensive option is more economical and will have the same healing effect. There should be at least three active ingredients in a reliable cream. Only a few are used to treat candida infections, but since there is a slight variation of types of yeast infections, your first selection may not bring you the results you are looking for. If this is the case, find one with slightly different active ingredients and try again.
Always use medicines designed to treat candida infections as directed on the tube or bottle. This is the only way you can expect to see the results it promises. Once your infection and the accompanying symptoms have been eradicated, keep the medicine container or write down the active ingredients that worked for you. Unfortunately, while there are preventative measures you can take, there is no way to guarantee you will not have a return yeast infection. You will be grateful to know which cream to use if you do become infected again.

Finding Yeast Infection Medicine - Conventional Or Alternative?
Go into any pharmacy today and you will find a huge selection of products which claim to cure yeast infections. Anti-fungal yeast infection medicine is available as a cream, tablets, ointment and suppositories and can be purchased over the counter at your local drug or grocery store. To add to the confusion we now find many people on the Internet promoting all natural treatments for an infection.
With such a large range of yeast infection medicine available how do we choose the best treatment?
The first thing to keep in mind is that its important to ensure that you actually have an infection, up to two thirds of the woman who buy yeast infection medicine actually have an unrelated problem. Using anti-fungal medication when you have a bacterial infection can lead to more problems than it solves as it will mean that a more serious infection goes untreated. For this reason it is important to get confirmation from a doctor before treatment especially if this is the first time you have had these symptoms.
How Do I Find The Right Yeast Infection Medicine For Me?
If this is the first time you have suffered from a yeast infection I don't see anything wrong with giving the over the counter treatments a try. For some people this will be enough to get rid of the problem quickly and hopefully that will be an end to the infection. Monisat and Canestan are two products that have a good reputation and will work perfectly in many cases. These products are available in 1, 3 or 7 day courses. I advise trying the 3 day course your first time, hopefully that will be sufficient to see an end to your yeast infection.
And If I Don't Want To Use Infection Medicines?
There's a growing number of people who feel uncomfortable using conventional medical treatments due to the fact they haven't worked for them or because of possible side effects which come from their use. Natural yeast infection cures tend to use a combination of diet, herbs, exercise and various other methods to get to the root cause of your condition. Due to the large number of variables in the equation it always helps to get advice from someone experienced in this area to point you in the best direction to take with your treatment.

Why You Need a Yeast Infection Medicine That Will Not Only Cure the Symptoms
Very tiny organisms that live in your skin, vagina and gut, can cause serious infections to your body. More specifically, the fungus called yeast is notorious in making your life miserable because it causes yeast infection. In women, the yeast lives in very harsh conditions in the vagina and when the environment is favorable, they multiple and become so many and therefore cause an infection. Some of the things that can make the environment of a vagina attract the growth of yeast are hormonal changes. The vagina is usually acidic and when there is a hormone imbalance the acidity decreases and more yeast can survive. Monthly periods can cause the vagina to be less acidic and other things are birth control pills, antibiotics, pregnancy, steroids and the factors are so many.
When you have an infection, you need a yeast infection medicine that will not only cure the symptoms, but will also cure the problem from the root. Firstly, you have to know the signs of a yeast infection. In women, vaginal infection or candidiasis is the most common and the symptoms are swelling of the vulva, itching of the skin surrounding the vagina, painful sexual intercourse and even pain while urinating. Another symptom that will always occur in women is a white discharge which is very similar to cottage cheese. Other forms of yeast infection will cause fatigue and aches and it is usually caused by infection in the gut. Another symptom is brain fog and this happens when the yeast have entered your blood circulation system. Yeast infection medicine will therefore be very necessary.
Yeast infection medicine is always anti fungal and it come with ingredients that are very much active against yeast. A compound that you will find in many yeast infection medicines is hydro cortisone. Before you take any medicines however, let a doctor confirm that you have yeast infection first. Regardless of all the symptoms, you need to take this vital step. This is necessary to rule out other diseases that usually have the same symptoms. If you take the medicines and you do not have yeast infection, they will not only fail to cure your problem but will harm you. When treating the condition, you can choose a variety of yeast infection medicines and they include, natural medicines and contemporary medicines.
If you are pregnant, your medicine will be very different because it will seek to protect the child you are carrying. In pregnancy, creams are usually recommended. Modern medicines keep on cropping up and when you go to the chemist, you will find so many medications to choose from. Oral pills are not advised for people who do not have serious conditions and this is because they come with very serious side effects. The pills are suitable for systemic or severe conditions that are usually present in people who have very low immunity. You can always use natural medicines like yogurt, honey, tea tree oil and so many others. Medicines should never be used for a very long time and if nothing seems to work right, see the doctor.

Products Reviews For Yeast Infection Treatment
There are many products on the market designed to treat yeast infections. Some of the products for yeast infections require a prescription and some are available over the counter. Herbal products are also used to treat yeast infections. The type of product you choose will depend on the severity of your infection and your personal preferences.
If you have chronic yeast infections or if your infections are severe, you should talk to your doctor before using over the counter products for yeast infections. Severe or recurring yeast infections can be a sign of a more serious underlying medical condition like diabetes or HIV.
Many of the products that are available to treat yeast infections are appropriate for both men and women. Monistat and Lamisil are examples of over the counter products to treat yeast infection. Many women and men also use Vagisil to help relieve the symptoms (like itching and burning) that are associated with yeast infection.
Some men and women with yeast infections prefer herbal products to treat yeast infections. Some of those include tea tree oil, slippery elm and gentian violet.
Gentian violet.
Boric acid capsules used as suppositories are an effective treatment method for yeast infections in women. Boric acid acidifies the vagina, which restores the natural balance of bacteria and yeast.
Some holistic health practitioners recommend products that can be used at home to treat yeast infections One reason many women prefer home remedies for yeast infections is that they don't have the unpleasant side effects that may be associated with other treatment types and they don't require a doctor's appointment. Many home remedy products can also be used daily to help prevent yeast infections. Some of the most popular home remedies include:
o Regularly daub apple cider vinegar in the areas prone to the infections. If you use this home remedy, you should add some garlic to help relieve the itching feeling and water to dilute the vinegar concentration.
o Curds (such as yogurt) are another popular home remedy for yeast infections. Some people suggest soaking a tampon in curds and placing it into the affected region for at least one hour. The theory is that the healthy bacteria from the curds will replace unhealthy yeast bacteria. This can be done twice a day.
o Drink at least two glasses of buttermilk per day, whether infected or not. By making curds a part of your daily diet you may reduce your risk for yeast infections. (This home remedy for yeast infections is a healthy choice for most women.)
o Saturate a tampon with tea tree oil and leave inserted overnight.
o Put 10-15 drops of grapefruit seed extract into your morning juice every day for a month. Some also recommend a daily dose of olive leaf extract together with the grapefruit seed extract.
If you are using over the counter or herbal products to treat your yeast infection you should tell your doctor because some remedies may have adverse reactions when used in conjunction with prescription medications. Most prefer natural products for yeast infections.
